The VanMarter Project is a 4 piece Christian rock band that was originally formed in 2006. Chris Chilton, lead vocals and guitar, hails from Coeur d’Alene and has been writing, playing, and performing for over 6 years. Also from Coeur d’Alene, Josh Popham, bass guitar and vocals, has been performing in worship bands for over 5 years.

Born & raised in Spokane Matt Beumer, drums and percussion, has been playing & performing for over 15 years. Adam Webster, guitar and vocals, is originally from Detroit and has been writing, playing and performing for over 10 years.

In the spring of 2006 Chris and Adam were the new additions to a band that was already falling apart. When the inevitable break-up happened, Chris and Adam knew that they weren’t finished making music. They began writing new material and searching for musicians that not only shared their passion for music, but also their love for Christ.
